The sustainability of a codebase depends on the quality of its writing and on the control of the level of its technical debt. Good knowledge of the SOLID principles makes it possible to perceive non-qualities in existing codebases and to understand the rules of Clean Code. This understanding makes it possible to secure and guarantee the success of the refactoring stage, the subject of this training.
The training is aimed at experienced Java developers with a good knowledge of the language and its fundamental APIs. An initial confrontation with the problems of managing old, bulky, and untested (or poorly) tested codebases is an advantage.
Program:
* Understand the concept of technical debt and the
SOLID principles.
* Understand the challenges of writing automated tests
and the cost of putting code into production
no tested automatically.
* Master the writing of automated tests, unit and
integration tests as well as principles and patterns
"clean code" in object programming.
